This file contains all of the statements, exchanges, and responses given by Dr. Ron Paul at the CNN and Arizona Republican Party Presidential Debate. The candidate forum was held at the Mesa Arts Center, in Mesa, AZ - and the event was principally moderated by John King. You won’t hear it from the agenda-setting MSM, but many unbiased viewers believe that Dr. Paul actually won this debate- taking his criticisms right to The Smiling Authoritarian (Sanitorium), himself: “He’s a fake!” As he so often does, Rep. Paul spoke past the political paradigm, addressing subject like illegal immigration, birth control and the morality of the people, the oath of office, and instigating aggression against the Iranians. 19th Republican Presidential Debate - Mesa, AZ (2/22/2012)

The four remaining contenders for the Republican nomination met once more in Mesa on Wednesday for the CNN and Arizona GOP Debate. The forum is quite possibly the final one of the 2012 election cycle, and the last before super Tuesday. The candidates took the stage in front of 1600+ at the Mesa Art Center ( in the following order, from left to right): Ron Paul, Rick Santorum, Mitt Romney, and Newt Gingrich. The debate was principally moderated by CNN’s John King, who predictably played up the Romney vs. Santorum horse-race. Much of the debate was focused on the candidate’s records, as well as significant discussion on earmarks, birth control, taxes, and the super-scary Iranian threat. This file includes the entire debate, made available free of charge to anyone interested. I only ask that the listener get to know Ron Paul! He is not a trendy, media-hyped candidate, but a man with a long career of principled independence, and a reverence for the Constitution! Link to full video to come…

On Wednesday morning, the Congressman held a Breakfast with Ron Paul fundraiser at the Hilton in Mesa, Arizona. For $250 per plate (quite modest by political standards), guests heard Dr. Paul deliver some remarks as they enjoyed a delicious breakfast. Ron Paul is the Choice of the Troops! - Sounds from the Rally, March, and Afterparty

On Monday the 20th of February, Adam Kokesh, Nathan Cox, and the grassroots Veterans for Ron Paul group held a rally and march in support of Ron Paul’s campaign for President. At least 500 veterans and active duty soldiers traveled to the nation’s capitol to visibly express their support for Dr. Paul- the Presidential candidate who far and away receives the most campaign donations from the active duty military (over 70%, including Pres. Obama). Many veterans and prominent liberty activists took to the stage at the rally to vocally support the Congressman, and express their displeasure at the bipartisan consensus that is the foreign policy of the United State government. An impressive sight, the battalion sized element then marched to the White House, stood in silence to honor all those who have died since Obama has taken office, and then turned “about face”- signifying their repudiation of the Nobel-laureate’s militaristic policies. I have compiled a collection of audio from the day’s events for your listening enjoyment, including: speeches, interviews, and music from the afterparty (posted in chronological order). Some of the audio at the rally is less than perfect (they seemed to struggle with feedback/distortion in the PA system at times). Of course, the national media largely ignored the gathering (save a few web articles and the like)- wouldn’t want to upset the corporate narrative and the left-right paradigm. Congressman Ron Paul stumped for a second straight day in North Dakota on Monday, stopping by the District 12 Convention in Jamestown. Dr. Paul was introduced to the hundreds in the crowd at the Knights of Columbus by ND Gov. Congressman Ron Paul hosted a major rally in Boise, Idaho on Friday afternoon at CenturyLink Arena. According to the Idaho Press-Tribune, roughly 2500 people came to the quickly organized event to hear the Congressman out on his limited government message. Many in the crowd were already on board with the r3VOLution- wearing pins and holding signs for Ron Paul 2012. This audio file includes introductory speeches and 44 minutes of Ron Paul. Ron Paul Hosts Campaign Rally in Spokane, WA (2/17/2012)

Republican presidential candidate, Ron Paul, addressed a large crowd in downtown Spokane on Friday night, hoping to earn their vote for the upcoming Washington State Republican caucus on March 3rd. According to KXLY.com (ABC - Spokane, WA), over 2500 liberty enthusiasts packed the Spokane Convention Center. Spokane county treasurer, Rob Chase, started the rally off with brief introductions calling for civic involvement to bring people out to the polls and gain support for Paul. Spokane Valley state Rep. Ron Paul Weekly Update - February 11th thru February 18th

This week, Congressman Ron Paul has remained largely under the radar- save the vote fraud controversy that followed last weekend’s Maine caucus. As of Saturday afternoon, the votes have been cast in Washington County, Maine- and Ron Paul won the county. Unfortunately, the votes were not enough to make up the gap between Dr. Paul and Mittens Romney. We could have used those headlines! Without them, coverage of our campaign has largely dried up on the major networks. But I will continue to find and post all the coverage I can find for the Weekly Update. The Congressman continues to campaign out west in advance of Super Tuesday. He will be moving on to Kansas and North Dakota, before traveling on to Arizona next week. On Thursday, Congressman Ron Paul rallied another group of energetic supporters in Seattle, Washington. The Seattle Post-Intelligencer reported that over 1300 showed up at the SeaTac Double Tree Hotel to hear Dr. Paul speak out against the wars abroad and the ever-encroaching intrusion of the federal government. WTF Is Going on in Maine? Audio Update

In case you haven’t been following the controversy that exists in the aftermath of the Maine caucuses, I thought I would post some audio including the coverage of the irregularities that exist. The caucus- which was called for Romney last Saturday- reeks of some of the same shenanigans that came out after the contest in Iowa last month. As you may know, the caucusing in Washington County (which just happens to be home for Ron Paul’s strongest support in the state) was cancelled due to a few inches of snow. Yet the election was called for Romney, despite the fact that less than 200 votes separated the two according to the Maine GOP’s initial figures. Moreover, the published tallies for Waldo County inferred that noone had voted there at all! I have seen conflicting reports as to whether or not the Paul campaign continues to contest the results (Dr. Paul never conceded defeat last weekend)- but at this point, I would contest anything and everything! “Conservative” media has been silent on this issue- Fox News has essentially dropped all coverage of the Paul campaign. Ironically, it is MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow who has covered the situation like a blanket on her evening program, along with WXIX-TV’s Ben Swann. Due to the loud demands of Ron Paul supporters, Maine will apparently be recounting caucus-goer’s votes (though Maine Republican Chairman Charlie Webster assures us that the outcome will be the same). Back on the campaign trail, the Republican candidate is on an Idaho and Washington state tour over the next couple of days. The Congressman spoke about the need to restore individual liberties, and to cut $1 trillion from the federal budget in the first year. Ron Paul Weekly Update - February 4th thru February 10th

The past week of the campaign has seen four more primary contests come and go, with surprisingly little media coverage of the man who who perhaps had the best week of all (besides the happy authoritarian, Rick Sanitorium). The press is starting to catch onto the fact that Dr. Ron Paul is most definitely in this race for the long-haul, and his organization has been focusing on a little thing we like to call delegates. We can all be frustrated by the non-binding nature of many of these early primary and caucus states, but we didn’t make the rules! Dr. Paul can do significantly better in terms of delegates than even his opponents who may have bested him in some of the straw-votes! Unsurprisingly, the MSM has hardly mentioned the latest polling data that shows Ron Paul running second nationwide, behind only Mittens Romney. Dr. Paul has regularly polled well against Obama, himself- but his 21% among GOP contenders is particularly promising. For now, we await for the results of the Maine caucus, that will end up a close finish on Saturday between Rep. Paul and Gov. Romney. The Nevada caucus took place across the Silver State on Saturday, yet the relatively small number of statewide votes have still not been counted in entirely at the time of this posting! Can anyone say, incompetence (Iowa all over again)? Something tells me the Nevada caucus will be in the news for awhile. One thing is for certain- Mitt Romney came away with yet another convincing victory in the race for the GOP nomination. Not content with waiting around for the results of the Nevada caucus, Ron Paul traveled on to another early caucus state to speak with the students and supporters at Bethel University in Arden Hills, Minnesota. Another young, enthusiastic crowd filled the 1500 seat auditorium to hear the Congressman rail against big government and irresponsible federal spending. The Congressman did not otherwise deliver Nevada caucus victory/concession remarks. The speech, which was aired in large part on CNN and MSNBC, showed Ron Paul at his best- defiant, determined, and purposeful (reminded me of the Rally for the Republic delivery). Rep. Ron Paul has been traveling across the country on the campaign trail this week in preparation for the early caucus states, where we all hope the revolution will start regaining some lost momentum. After heartening near-victories in Iowa and New Hampshire in January, the campaign faced disappointing setbacks in South Carolina and Florida. Dr. Paul campaigned right through the winner-take-all Florida primary last Tuesday, reaching out to more sympathetic populations in Maine, Colorado, Nevada, and now Minnesota. The press has noted the apparent alliance of convenience between the Paul campaign and the Romney campaign- as the Congressman has came to Mitten’s defense on occasion in recent weeks, while generally avoiding unproductive attacks on that candidate. The question is- what is in it for Dr. Paul? I would like to imagine a scenario where the two would try to expose the true ideology of the neoconservatives and vow to keep them out of the next Republican administration (but of course I am only thinking aloud). Congressman Ron Paul sat down with CNN’s Piers Morgan at Planet Hollywood’s Koi in Las Vegas for an extended, in-depth interview on a variety of topics. True to their recent form when interviewing the Congressman, CNN went for creating the maximum possible controversy when talking with Dr. Paul- particularly in discussing issues like rape and abortion. In an intense and revealing interview, the Republican from Texas addresses a wide-range of issues, including his reaction to Mitt Romney’s recent comment about the poor, and the former Governor’s apparent misunderstanding of economics. For such a superficially cordial guy, Piers Morgan is disgusting, in that he will attack a person from both the left and the right, in the same interview! It’s really astounding to listen to these two men- it’s like they speak entirely different languages! Using Nevada as something of a microcosm for the entire country, Dr. Paul talked about the nature of the fiscal mess we find ourselves in and the common sense solutions to restore prosperity. The Congressman explained his vision, and then opened the floor for questions from the press. At the end of this event, Dr. Paul acknowledged his wife of 55 years on their anniversary, presenting Carol with a bouquet of roses as the crowd cheered jubilantly (Good Video Here). Presidential Candidate Ron Paul came to Colorado State University in Ft. Collins on Tuesday, to deliver a speech and hold a campaign rally for local students and supporters. According to the Congressman’s Facebook page, over 1200 people packed CSU’s Lory Student Center- while the Rocky Mountain Collegian reported that another 200 filled an overflow room! Dr. Paul spoke about foreign policy, the drug war and preservation of American liberties in his speech lasting about 30 minutes. As the other three jokers vie for the winner-take-all delegates in Florida, Congressman Ron Paul has opted to focus his campaign on the early caucus states- namely, Maine, during this last week. The grassroots energy is absolutely inspiring everywhere Dr. Paul goes! The Congressman participated in two Republican debates in the Sunshine State, in impressive fashion. It has been noted the the Ron Paul media blackout has been re-instituted by the major networks and the MSM writ-large, as the name Ron Paul was conspicuously absent from most discussion of those debates. But the last few days has seen the re-re-re-hashing of the Ron Paul newsletters- showing that the power-structure remains concerned about our cause and our candidate. I have already seen sporadic discussion by people who are already conceding this nomination. Don’t give up so easily! This thing is still very early, and our movement can catch like wildfire at any time! Kicking off his particular focus on these early caucus states, Rep. Ron Paul traveled to Maine for a two-day tour of the state in advance of voting there- which begins this weekend. On Friday afternoon, Dr. Paul delivered his stump speech at Colby College in Waterville. Not sure why the event was not run like a town hall- instead it was more like a meet and greet. Rand Paul Detained by TSA, Speaks Out Against Federal Goon Force

I just had to post some of coverage of this week’s public altercation between Sen. Rand Paul and the TSA. On Monday, it was reported that the Senator was detained by agents of the Transportation Security Administration at the Nashville International Airport. An “anomaly” was supposedly spotted on the Senator’s person when he went through the naked body scanner, at which time TSA agents insisted on a full patdown. Dr. Paul denied permission for the intrusive search, which began a 90-minute stand-off between the Senator and the TSA. Rand eventually made it on another flight, but not without speaking to the media about his displeasure with the attitude and tactics of the belligerent federal agency. For their part, the Obama administration supported the actions of their agents in Nashville, and the TSA attempted to characterize Rand as irate, and somehow unreasonable (leaked security video contradicts this claim). Audio Rewind: News & Coverage of the South Carolina Primary

This audio file recaps the last few days of media coverage- leading up to, on the day of, and in the aftermath of the South Carolina primary. I like to include surrogates speaking to the media on behalf of the Paul campaign, various clips illustrating the kind of grassroots efforts taking place on the ground, news packages by local affiliates and national networks, and even some previously unposted audio with Dr. Paul, himself. The media rarely covers Dr. Paul even when he does well at the ballot box- they had even less to say on Saturday night. By the numbers, the Congressman received around 77k votes from SC voters- a huge increase over four years ago in a somewhat hostile state. Unfortunately, the disappointing showing was enhanced by the fact that the candidates certain to finish behind him dropped out prior to primary day. But most outlets recognize that our campaign will push forward for the foreseeable future, collecting delegates as we go. I want to say that regardless of the results, the activists and supporters in South Carolina should be very proud of themselves! Waking up Americans, particularly those in the deep south who have their traditional faith and patriotism manipulated by the GOP for political gain, is no simple task. Well, it is a disappointing night for all of us as Congressman Ron Paul garnered only 13% of the South Carolina Republican Primary vote. Newt Gingrich won the election with 40%, Mitt Romney was 2nd with 28%, and Rick Santorum was 3rd with 19% of the vote. Wonder what happened to the other 4 to 8% that Dr. Paul had polled with in the last week or so? Nevertheless, we are still very early in this fight, with elections to come that are much friendlier to our cause and our candidate. Dr. Paul did receive over 77,000 votes on Saturday - nearly 5x more votes than in the 2008 SC primary (16,155), and almost as many votes as the 2012 New Hampshire (56,848) and Iowa (26,036) contests combined! That is NOT a failure -Those are alot of changed minds! After all the results had been announced, Congressman Paul addressed a couple hundred local supporters and activists at his South Carolina Primary Night Party in Columbia. The Congressman touted the steady growth of our movement and reiterated his position on several issues involving government spending and the national debt, the Patriot Act and the Federal Reserve system. Ron Paul Weekly Update - January 14th thru January 21st

As you might expect going into the all-important South Carolina primary, coverage of the Ron Paul 2012 campaign has been hot and heavy in the past week. The last seven days have been strange, in that Rick Santorum has been pushed back into the headlines after the Iowa GOP has somehow determined that he actually won the caucus there, and the mainstream press (particularly Fox News and the neocon talk radio mafia) has hailed the rejuvenation of Newt Gingrich’s campaign due to his windy performances in the two South Carolina debates. You have to be amused by such an arrogant insider like Gingrich bemoaning the “elitist media” for calling him to task for his life and record. And your average Republican just eats it up! The Congressman took a break from the campaign trail midweek to return to Washington and stand against yet another debt-ceiling increase, and to propose legislation that would repeal the most offensive sections of the NDAA. He then returned to the Palmetto State to rally the troops towards victory at the polls. The personal attacks were near constant. Neoconservative figurehead Bill Krystol made the rounds demanding that the Republican Party find a way to banish Ron Paul, while at the same time, other observers in the punditry acknowledged that any Republican nominee will have to have us on board if they hope to have a chance at beating Lord Obama in the general election. Strange Days Indeed! I will post a wrap-up/review of the South Carolina primary within the next day or two. Section 1021 essentially overturns Posse Comitatus, turns all of America into a virtual battlefield, and gives the Executive Branch unchecked authority to indefinitely detain suspected terrorists or their sympathizers. This outrageous assault on due process turns back centuries of legal progress- yet where are all the proud progressives in the media? At a hastily organized meeting held on a Sunday evening, Ron Paul packed in a raucous crowd at the Palisades Conference Center in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Local activists and supporters came out to listen to the Congressman, and to hear popular State Senator Tom Davis announce his endorsement of Dr. Paul for the Republican nomination. Davis is a well-known fiscal conservative and tea party favorite who helped kick-off the campaign’s return to the Palmetto State for the home stretch there after four days off. Ron Paul Weekly Update - January 7th thru January 13th

I have already posted plenty of audio this week, including coverage of the lead up to the New Hampshire primary and the initial reaction to Ron Paul’s impressive second place finish there. To South Carolina we go! Dr. Paul has quickly jumped into the 20% range there, essentially doubling his support in the Palmetto State in the last week! This audio file contains other campaign developments during that period, including much discussion of what the Congressman’s strong finishes in the first two contests means for the Republican Party, and for this nomination process. It absolutely drives me crazy that virtually every panel discussion involving our candidate’s name contains one or two snarky, insulting comments about Dr. Paul- despite his clear victories against all the other Republicans in this race (besides Mittens). If I had the time to edit those comments out, I would do it- but it takes hours to collate the audio and write up descriptions as it is. I no longer post any wholly negative segments, even if they would be considered newsworthy. But some tv/radio segments are often a mix of positive and negative commentary. Please forgive any oversights, as I don’t always have a chance to review all the audio before I post it. OK, three more hours of audio coverage for my loyal podcast subscribers! Dr. Ron Paul formally kicked off the campaign in South Carolina Wednesday afternoon, speaking to activists and other supporters at Eagle Aviation in Columbia. The Post and Courier reported that several hundred people in attendance heard the Congressman talk about the need to reign in both the many military interventions overseas and the Federal Reserve system.
