Congressman Ron Paul on Lew Rockwell Radio (6/7/2011)
June 8th, 2011
In another conversation with Lew Rockwell, Ron Paul challenges the economics of government power and dollar destruction, as exemplified by John Maynard Keynes. He wants to reverse Nixon’s dictat, that "we are all Keynesians now," and make that "Austrians." He also finds new support for his exposure of Fed abuses, and opposition to the Christian right theology of endless war.

Ron Paul on the Lew Rockwell Show (3/6/2011)
March 7th, 2011
Ron Paul talks to Lew Rockwell about his possible presidential campaign, and recent committee hearings with the likes of Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. During the conversation, the Congressman provided an update into his thinking, in regard to another run for president.
RP: "I've been as up front as I can on this... And I do feel a bit of personal obligation to so many who have placed a fair amount of trust in me to continue this fight. So, it is a possibility, as it always has been. But it also is a major, major decision on my part. For personal reasons, political reasons, and it just is very tedious... I ask if I could have help in traveling in a private plane. Which makes it much more effective- I can get more places. And it seems like that was well received. We raised a significant amount of dollars that will help. I will be going on Monday, and I can make three major cities in Iowa all in one day and still get to Washington. I mean, the efficiency of this is unbelievable! Not to talk about, you know, staying out of the groping hands of the TSA. But then I go back to Iowa a little bit later on in March, as well as I am going up to New Hampshire. So, obviously, that has some implications. Maybe when I finish all those trips I will feel better about it, and feel energized enough to take it on myself again, to make that decision." (start at 11:57)

Congressman Ron Paul on the Peter Schiff Show (1/28/2011)
January 29th, 2011
Rep. Paul spoke with radio host, former Senate candidate, and economic adviser to his 2008 Presidential campaign, Mr. Peter Schiff on Friday. The long time colleagues talked about the Congressman's plans as head of the House Financial Services' domestic monetary policy subcommittee, and how he plans to save America from the Fed! The archives for the Schiff Show can be found here. The interview was posted and available on YouTube, thanks to YouTube User: DrRonPaul2012. Dr. Paul did provide an update into his thoughts on another presidential run in 2012. It seems his decision has been postponed for now (rats!):
RP: "I'm still pretty undecided on that. I'm pretty ambivalent and I give about the same answer. I'm actually so engaged right now in doing the job on oversight of the Federal Reserve, that for me to be traveling a lot...I haven't been able to quite adapt to that. But I don't have to decide right now- I'm going to wait a few months. It's interesting that some of the other candidates are doing the same thing. Even Huckabee and Romney are saying: "Well, I might not decide 'til summertime." So, that wouldn't be the worst thing in the world. I don't have to answer right now, so I'll have time to think about it...Things change so quickly! So, events may be such that I think it's worthwhile. Right now I don't feel pressure that I have to say that I am not or that I am doing it, and so I'm going to wait a few more months." (16:41)

Chairman Paul with Bloomberg’s Kathleen Hays (12/10/2010)
December 12th, 2010
Representative Ron Paul talks with Bloomberg's Kathleen Hays about re-establishing the U.S. estate tax, his plans as the new Chairman of the Subcommittee on Domestic Monetary Policy, and the compromise on extending the Bush era tax cuts. The interview is part of Bloomberg's Hays Advantage podcast. While some Republicans feign outrage at Dr. Paul's support for the White House's tax cut proposal, it is another example of the Congressman's pragmatic populist streak: he is unwilling to risk the impending tax hikes for everyone, just to ensure the tax cuts for the richest Americans (who have done incredibly well over the last decade, by any economic measure). Moreover, he would never admit it, but perhaps he feels compassion for the millions of unemployed who have lost their jobs at the hands of the Fed's boom and bust cycle. In an era where the banks and corporations have been bailed out for their reckless speculation, should the Republican congress make their fiscal stand against the unemployed? How about cutting the funding for the wars, the embassies, the bureaucracy, or the body scanners?

November 29th, 2010
Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX) was interviewed by Scott Horton of Anti-War Radio to discuss his preferred Korea policy in light of the North/South military clash: pull out all US forces and let the regional powers mediate if necessary; how Osama bin Laden’s plan to bankrupt the US empire (as he did to the USSR before) seems to be working perfectly; how government programs (like Obamacare) are incredibly difficult to repeal once enacted, the devastation wrought on Iraqi Christian communities since the US invastion and the groundswell of Americans who are angered by TSA screenings but fail to make the connection between US foreign policy and terrorism. Please support Anti-War Radio; they need our help! Listen to this interview, and donate at antiwar.com: a libertarian voice for peace!

Ron Paul in conversation with Lew Rockwell (6/20/2010)
June 20th, 2010
Ron talks with Lew about gold’s verdict on the dollar, how government helped bring on the oil spill, the Fed’s machinations and the attempt to audit it, and the rotten foundations of the world financial system. Yet amidst bad news, millions of young people are studying Austrian economics and libertarianism. They know the crimes of the Fed, and why we need reform. In any event, reform is coming, as the shaky greenback and world dollar system go down. Meanwhile, independent voters want Ron for president against Obama and other Republicans. GOP primary voters are a different matter.
