Herman Cain: Another Establishment Hack

October 13th, 2011

Whether you like Herman Cain or not, it is incredibly clear that the man has changed his tune significantly since he has become a prominent presidential candidate. Mr. Cain supported the bailouts, people- you know, the reason for the emergence of the tea party? Moreover, the man rejected calls to investigate the Federal Reserve only a year ago, only to lie to Dr. Paul and the rest of the American people on live television during Tuesday night's debate. Do you not see a pattern with the GOP nomination process? Ron Paul's campaign has been selectively covered for the last five months, as the media has crowned at least four different frontrunners, hoping for the conservative movement to coalesce around a single candidate- who the Republican establishment controls! The only thing Cain has going for him is his catchy jingoism, and a lack of a political record (except his 'service' at the Federal Reserve). Herman Cain has morphed into the black Donald Trump- and any man so impressed with himself should get nowhere near the executive branch of the worlds most powerful nation. This file is a compilation of media calling out Herman Cain for who he is, his laughable support of Alan Greenspan, and his manipulation on display at the Bloomberg/Dartmouth College debate to avoid having to answer for his previous statements. This man may not be a professional politician, but he is well schooled in the arts of denial, deception, and displaced anger. Links to original media sources are included in the file description, included audio can be heard in the order listed below:

Weekend in Review - Audio Coverage from the Value Voters Summit

October 10th, 2011

Well, Dr. Ron Paul has done it once again- with a resounding victory at another major straw poll. This time, at a social conservative convention that the Congressman has been less likely to attend in years past. Some at the Family Research Center, who organized the 2011 Values Voters Summit, have (incorrectly) suggested that the campaign had bought and given away tickets to the events. Talk about sour grapes! The pundits never note that the other candidates could also have their enthusiastic supporters attend these events, if they had any! This collection of audio includes Dr. Paul's interview with Fox during the summit on Saturday, the Congressman addressing supporters at the campaign meet & greet following the major speech, and some media coverage reporting the straw-poll victory. If you are looking for audio of the Congressman's VVS speech, CLICK HERE. I want to know: where are all these purported Mitt Romney supporters? The man is the so-called frontrunner, but he can't win anything- not even applause at the debates. Links to original media sources are included in the file description, included audio can be heard in the order listed below:

(0:00) Rep. Paul visit's with FNC's Uma Pemmaraju on America's News HQ. Video compliments of YouTube User: RonPaul2008dotcom. (10/8)

(4:34) Dr. Paul is introduced, speaks to supporters at campaign meet and greet following main speech. Video compliments of YouTube User: yummysmokedham. (10/8)

(14:23) Raw audio from Values Voter summit: Straw poll winners announced (actually, just posted- Just like at Ames, there was no visual announcement for TV news), and the crowd goes wild. It's as if the images of Ron Paul winning are too threatening to the powers that be! I can't find this YouTube file anymore, to boot. Clip was entitled: "Ron Paul Wins 2011 Values Voter Summit Presidential Straw Poll; Herman Cain Second".

(15:27) Fox News' Shannon Bream talks with the Family Research Council's Tony Perkins on America's News Headquarters, who rightly advises Fox not to dismiss Ron Paul! (10/9)

(18:56) More media coverage of RP's straw poll win; Fox News' Harris Faulkner, Rick Folbaum, Jamie Colby, and more! Video montage compliments of YouTube User: RonPaulFriends.(10/8)

(22:11) Fox News Sunday: Fox News' Chris Wallace talks with panel about another straw-poll victory for Dr. Paul- Juan Williams, Brit Hume, AB Stoddard are impressed, while Bill Krystol still thinks Santorum, Gingrich, Cain have a chance! Fox has little credibility when Bill Krystol is their premier Republican operative! (10/9)

(26:10) Media Dismissive of Ron Paul Straw Poll Win? Newsy.com's Emily Spain analyzes the media, reports. Video compliments of YouTube User: NewsyPolitics. (10/9)

The Case of Anwar al-Awlaki - The National Security State or The Constitution?

October 4th, 2011

Rep. Ron Paul has been back in the news, having dissented against the extrajudicial assassination of  suspected terrorist and American citizen, Anwar al-Awlaki. The Congressman would usually receive several major interviews in light of such a controversy, but the media is still in blackout phase. So they stake out his campaign events, take 30 or 60 second soundbytes, and frame his statements however they please. Most neocons promptly praise President Obama for killing another Muslim terrorist. Most corporate news networks are completely in the tank for the President, so they don't think twice about the truly frightening precedent. Noone is crying over al-Awlaki's death, although there are many questions about his purported ties to the CIA and the Pentagon that could have been exposed in a public trial. Dr. Paul warned for months about the danger of allowing the US government to set the precedent for killing 'enemy combatants' on sight! There are infinite reasons to protect due process, for even the most dangerous criminals. Many of the usual suspect are demagoguing RP's position, but his time, we may have an ally in Dr. Savage. Included in this file are several clips that the media has used to discuss this controversy- without inviting Dr. Paul to participate in the conversation. Links to original media sources are included in the file description, included audio can be heard in the order listed below:

(0:00) NBC News: Ron Paul meets the press outside the New Hampshire Institute of Politics at St. Anselm College (Manchester, NH), criticizes Obama for 'assassinating' al-Awlaki. (9/30)

(1:30) Opinion Journal - Ron Paul Defending Terrorists? Neocon Dorothy Rabinowitz on liberal and libertarian outrage at the al-Awlaki killing. This revolting shrew is some type of spokeswoman for the righteousness of the American state. Her willful ignorance represents our enemy to a 'T'- to that extent, it's worth hearing.  WSJ-com (9/30)

(5:23) Surprising video!: Hermain Cain (at one time) agreed with Ron Paul, after Fox News debate in Greenville, SC. Video compliments of YouTube User: bxtidre7. (5/5)

(6:07) CNN Breaking News: Rep. Paul advocating Obama impeachment? RP responds to question about Pres. Obama/al-Alawki at UNH in Concord, NH. (9/30)

(7:14) Ron Paul Continues to Voice Disapproval of Al-Awlaki Assassination at Nashua, New Hampshire town hall. Video comes via  Bedford, NH Patch. (10/3)

(8:40) Michael Savage Praises and Agrees with Ron Paul on al-Awlaki Assassination. Video compliments of YouTube User: Conservative1001BG. (10/3)

Constitutional Money: Bill Still v. Tom Woods

September 22nd, 2011

In recent days, some pundits and researchers have questioned Ron Paul's understanding of Constitutional money and the legal tender laws. This debate is exemplified by an interview that Russia Today's Max Keiser conducted with author and documentary filmmaker Bill Still- who is a longtime advocate of monetary policy reform. Still opposes the gold standard, in favor of a 'nationalized' central bank, that can create debt-free currency for the people. I included Still's entire conversation on the Keiser Report (some of which is unrelated to Wood's response), which contains useful discussion about Fort Knox, state banks, and hard currency. On Wednesday, Tom Woods released a video in defense of Dr. Paul's views that the federal government may make nothing other than gold and silver legal tender, according to the laws still currently on the books (begins at 12:40).

Jerry Doyle: A Principled Ally

September 9th, 2011

In the few years since the 2008 campaign, many, many pundits have at ostensibly expressed support of Ron Paul, or at least shown a tacit acknowledgement of his proven wisdom and foresight (think Joe Scarborough, Tucker Carlson, Howard Stern, even Steve Forbes). But where are they now? Now that an actual campaign is underway once again, those voices have largely disappeared into the ether, if not turned hostile altogether. Well, over the last few weeks, radio host Jerry Doyle has weathered a storm for defending Ron Paul and challenging the neocon talkers, particularly Limbaugh and Hannity. Stations have apparently dropped his radio show for even daring to challenge the RINO establishment, and we should all get to know this principled conservative better, and support his efforts on behalf of the Congressman. He's independent, and an entertaining host to boot! I have posted a couple clips of his show in the recent past (Just search "Doyle" in the search box on the far right frame, or follow the links below to the YouTube pages). Subscribe to Jerry's free sample podcast here. Links to original media sources are included in the file description, included audio can be heard in the order listed below:

American Spectator Hit Piece, Tom Woods Rebuttal

August 29th, 2011

With the release of the latest AP poll, showing Rep. Ron Paul in the top three nationwide (and ahead of Michele Bachmann), the verdict is in! Ron Paul has now jumped into the top tier in the race for the GOP nomination, and it's freaking out the Republican establishment. Over the last week or so, former Reagan aide and author Jeffrey Lord has been on virtually all the prominent neoconservative radio shows, following The American Spectator's release of his bizarre hit piece, entitled: Ron Paul and the Neoliberal Reeducation Campaign. At first, the provocatively titled article contends that Dr. Paul is a closet radical leftist, cherry picking statements that bring to mind ideologues like Marx and Trotsky! But delving deeper (and Lord focuses here in his radio interviews), the piece is really an attempt at guilt-by-association, tying non-intervention to radicals of the past and a hatred for the Jewish state. There is very little concrete substance in Lord's article, more speculation of Dr. Paul's motives, and opportunities for said radio hosts to introduce racism into the debate. Just shameful!

This file contains Lord's interview on The Jerry Doyle Show (8/23, starts at 0:00), followed by a response from Tom Woods (8/25, starts at 16:02).

Shootout at the Texas Corral: Gov. Rick Perry vs. Rep. Ron Paul

August 28th, 2011

Rather than let all this compelling audio build up over several weeks, I will try to post related files as part of a series to cover particular controversies or topics of discussion. One of the more interesting story lines to come out of the race for the Republican nomination thus far, has been the emergence of two Texans on the campaign trail. The first being the most principled advocate of the Constitution, and uncompromising defender of individual liberty since America's founding generation- Dr. Ron Paul. The second being a groomed, establishment favorite, who made and broke a personal pledge to forgo running for President to appear as the reluctant candidate, drafted by the grassroots (and undeniably linked with Karl Rove and the Bush dynasty)- Governor Rick Perry. I don't believe for a second that it was Perry's idea to announce on the same day of the straw-poll, that was likely the call of Republican bigwigs. Now, we can't generally expect the mainstream media to take an unbiased look at these two candidates on their own merits and records, but some coverage and analysis has been out there, nonetheless. Here is what I have come across in the early going.

(0:00) CapBuzz: Perry vs. Paul- "a battle over ideas." The Texas Tribune's Ross Ramsey and Thanh Tan report, with cameo by former TX Gubernatorial candidate Debra Medina. Video compliments of YouTube User: thetexastribune. (7/28)

(2:04) Fox News' Alisyn Camerota covers Dr. Paul at Iowa campaign event (on FNC's America's Newsroom): linking Rick Perry to the status-quo. Video compliments of YouTube User: Vote4Paul2012. (8/11)

(2:51) Alex Jones' video report: Rick Perry is the banker's answer to Ron Paul. Video compliments of YouTube User: TheAlexJonesChannel. (8/13)

(8:56) KYTX CBS 19 (Tyler, Texas) reports on "The Other Texas Candidate": Dr. Paul's 'THE ONE' ad, Wins KYTX online poll Paul - 81%, Perry - 19%. (8/16)

(10:58) Fox News' Happening Now: Ron Paul out with new ad taking aim at Perry, Romney. Chris Stirewalt reports. Video compliments of YouTube User: RonPaulFriends. (8/16)

(14:21) Ron Paul mentioned on Fox: Rick Perry "makes me look like a moderate." Video by YouTube User: MOXNEWSd0tCOM. (8/18)

(16:05) RT's Adam Kokesh on You the Viewer segment: Rick Perry- Ken Doll, Texas Edition. Video complements of YouTube User: AdamVsTheMan. (8/19)

(19:19) Dr. James David Manning (the guy who coined my favorite nickname for Barack Obama- 'the long legged mack daddy'): RP vs. RP - The Texas Shoot Out. I certainly don't agree with the Reverend's ultimate analysis, but its so damn funny you just have to watch/listen! Calls Gov. Perry 'the sagebrush cowboy'. Video compliments of YouTube User: ATLAHWorldwide. (8/25)

Bill O’ Reilly Attacks Ron Paul, TYT’s Cenk Uygur Responds

August 26th, 2011

Rather than let all this compelling audio build up over several weeks, I will try to post related files as part of a series to cover particular controversies or topics of discussion. After the obvious, and well documented blackout of Ron Paul's candidacy following the virtual tie at the Ames straw poll, Fox News' anchor Bill O' Reilly took it upon himself to offer a "very kind invitation" to come on The Factor's so-called "no spin zone." In the absence of an immediate response from the campaign, the smiling demagogue welcomed political analyst and noted former Clinton advisor Dick Morris to offer a "fair and balanced" view of the dispute- and polling data that looks quite positive for the Paul camp. Note Morris' insistence that we must not count Herman Cain and Rick Santorum out of the race, while a vote for Ron Paul is a vote for Obama! Surprisingly, it was The Young Turks' Cenk Uygur (former MSNBC host) who spoke out in defense of the Congressman's record of debating all challengers, and to call out O' Reilly's disingenuous invite and juvenile insults.

(0:00) Why is Ron Paul dodging The O' Reilly FactorFNC's Bill O' Reilly speculates/downplays RP's polling success with establishment hack Dick Morris. (8/24)

Ron Paul Media Blackout - Audio Coverage

August 17th, 2011

Well, the corporate media gatekeepers have been hard at work, managing your perception of this 2nd place Iowa straw poll victory for the grassroots. I could have played many clips of establishment pundits NOT talking about Ron Paul, despite finishing less than 1 percentage point behind Michele Bachmann at the Ames straw-poll, and despite his clear cut victory at the 3rd Republican presidential debate. Listen to the voices across our r3VOLution point out the hypocrisy of the dinosaur media! Many of the individuals come to different conclusions as to why Dr. Paul is treated so unfairly. Which other candidates, who ever finished in the top 3 at Ames, were we told "just can't win?" That's mind control! It's a psychological warfare tactic, and we must charge on past the so-called opinion makers! That's what we get when our "mainstream" media is owned and sponsored by defense contractors! Do Karl Rove, Bill Krystol, and David Brooks speak for you? Not me! Links to original media sources are included in the file description, included audio can be heard in the order listed below:

Ron Paul to Retire from the Congress!

July 14th, 2011

It's true- Congressman Ron Paul will not seek re-election to the House of Representatives, as he will instead go "all in" for the Presidential campaign. I edited together a bit of audio to capture the reaction from some familiar voices in support of Ron Paul. What has prompted this sudden announcement? Will the Congressman use this new found freedom to spawn an independent or 3rd party run, if he does not win to Republican nomination? This file provides some insight into these critical questions. Links to original media sources are included in the file description, included audio can be heard in the order listed below:

(0:00) Ron Paul is all in, will not run for Congress again. Russia Today's Adam Kokesh reports on Adam Vs The Man. (7/12)

Why Ron Paul for President in 2012?

June 13th, 2011

I have so much great audio to share with you all, it's just a matter of time and money! This podcast is a collection of media and YouTube clips that come across well, despite being devoid of the corresponding videos (which will be linked to below). These clips re-introduce the listener to Ron Paul, his background, his philosophical understanding and policy positions, and address some of the criticisms that are commonly espoused to detract from his distinguished service. The amazing thing to realize is how long he has been in this fight- so many of his competitors for the Republican nomination have likely taken a position and flip-flopped several times since the Congressman has been in office. His old-school conservatism is so consistent, so steadfast and rooted in a nuanced historical understanding that even independent-minded liberals have to respect him! Take a listen! Links to original media sources are included in the file description, included audio can be heard in the order listed below:
