Texas Straight Talk - Military “Cuts”: Don’t Believe the Hype (8/20/2012)

In this week's Texas Straight Talk update, Rep. Ron Paul comments on the recent remarks by Grover Norquist at the Center for the National Interest. Perhaps conservatives are finally coming around to the realization that US foreign policy, as it has been conducted in recent years, is fiscally and logistically unsustainable. Yet, neither party has even proposed actual cuts to military spending. Public sentiments will continue to build against foreign intervention, but be prepared- talk of such cuts will prompt an incredible propaganda offensive from the military industrial complex!
