The station also posted raw video from an interview that evening anchor Matt Breen did with the Congressman during that September visit, as part of their "On the Trail" series on the GOP candidates for Decision 2012. Rep. Ron Paul Joins The Jason Lewis Show (10/31/2011)

Congressman Ron Paul spoke with syndicated radio host Jason Lewis on Monday about the campaign for President (and the possibility of a 3rd party run), US foreign policy, and some of the technicalities involved with a gold standard. 12-18 months ago, Lewis used to spend significant portions of his broadcast defending the positions of Ron Paul. It's an odd case- Lewis is a libertarian-leaning conservative, who is against the empire. But, he won't support Dr. Paul for President because he doesn't like us (Ron's supporters)! I will be posting some additional audio from his show in the next couple days, to demonstrate. Audio was recorded from the GCN Livestream.

Texas Straight Talk: Leaving Iraq? (10/31/2011)

In this week's Texas Straight Talk update, Congressman Ron Paul reacts to the Obama administration's announcement that US soldiers would be coming home from Iraq- perhaps by year's end. We all know that the Nobel laureate needs to draw-down troops from the theater to retain any credibility as a peace candidate. Halloween Horrors: The Creature from Jekyll Island

On this Halloween, I wanted to post a most terrifying tale, as told by the great author and researcher- G. Edward Griffin. It's a tale of the economic vampires who sought to create the ultimate monopoly by controlling the people's money. Many wise and well-studied leaders of this nation rejected the creation of the central bank, but the great money trust (through crisis creation and strategic deception) saddled the people with the Federal Reserve system. The creation of the Fed was indeed a conspiracy- never let anyone tell you differently! In this lecture, which was recorded in Los Angeles in 1994, Griffin reveals the process by which the Federal Reserve was dreamed up and enacted by representatives of the richest men on earth. To this day, we live in a kind of bankocracy, where the big 6 banks that make up the banking cartel (JPMorgan-Chase, Citibank, Bank of America, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Wells Fargo) never lose. They have stolen 98% of the value of the people's money since the FRA was enacted in 1913- a colossal failure by any measure. This writer has never heard anyone challenge G. Edward's findings- it's just a matter of informing our fellow citizens. This is what Ron Paul knows! This speech was posted by the Independent American Party. Ron Paul Speaks at the National Federation of Republican Assemblies Straw Poll (10/29/2011)

Congressman Ron Paul appeared at the National Federation of Republican Assemblies (NFRA) Straw Poll, and spoke to a super-enthusiastic group of supporters and activists who came to the Polk County Convention Center in Des Moines, Iowa. The Congressman won two presidential preference polls there on Saturday, one amongst Iowa residents and another from the crowd of out-of-state attendees. Dr. Paul delivered an anti-big government message to loud applause: railing against the secrecy of the feds and the increasing danger of authoritarian government. Ron Paul Holds Town Hall Meeting in Hampstead, NH (10/28/2011)

Dr. Ron Paul spoke to another packed venue on Friday (reportedly another 250), at the Granite Rose Function Facility in the southeast New Hampshire town of Hampstead. This forum was a townhall format, in the more conventional sense than the campaigns usual meet and greet sessions- with a short interview with the moderator, followed by audience Q&A. Moderated by Bill Nazarro (Veterans for Ron Paul, Town Councillor- New Market, NH), plus a new endorsement from within the state, NH Sen. Andy Sanborn. Video compliments of YouTube User: PDRChris.

Ron Paul’s ‘Plan to Restore America’: Early Media Coverage

Nearly two weeks have passed since Congressman Paul announced his unprecedented plan to balance the nation's budget within his first term as President. With his 'Plan to Restore America', Rep. Paul boldly shows the nation how $1T can be cut from federal government spending- without hurting the most dependent among us! Fiscal conservatives have widely applauded the effort, while liberals, and even some mainstream Republicans warn that such a "draconian" effort would put at risk the fragile economic recovery (LOL). A light week for Rand Paul related audio. I have claimed this several times, but this may be the last Rand Paul audio update. I'd like to instead produce a weekly Ron Paul 2012 news coverage update, as we head into the home-stretch of the final eight weeks before the primaries begin. Ron Paul with the Nashua Telegraph Editorial Board (10/28/2011)

On Friday morning. Rep. Ron Paul sat down for an hour-long discussion with the Nashua Telegraph editorial board in the television studios of Nashua (New Hampshire) High School South. The interview was part of the Telegraph's 'Candidate Series' and was moderated by Nick Pappas- the editor of the paper's editorial page. Discussion included a myriad of subjects, including: the federal budget and Dr. Paul's $1T 'Restore America Plan', electability (coming from an unpopular Congressional body), principled leadership vs. compromise, the war against Libya, taxation, and much more!

Rep. Ron Paul on Inside Nevada with Jim Rogers (10/28/2011)

While he was in Las Vegas last week, Congressman Ron Paul taped an Inside Nevada interview with KSNV (NBC 3) station owner Jim Rogers. Rogers hosted a relaxed, enlightening discussion about about how America got into the mess we find ourselves in, and why Dr. Ron Paul is the wise leader to help lead us out of it. Rogers owns the  Intermountain West Communications Company (aka Nevada's Information Network) with its NBC television stations in Las Vegas (KSNV), Reno (KRNV), and Elko (KENV). The complete discussion was broadcast over the course of this week on those local affiliates, during the Nightly News. This file includes that entire interview as a single download.

It's about time, Mancow! This guy portrays himself as an anti-establishment libertarian; he should be leading the bandwagon (if not for the scourge of Islamophobia and mindless nationalism)!

Dr. Paul is asked about his treatment by the media, his legions of donors from the grassroots, and how his tax plans differ from the Cain/Perry plans. Another remarkable subject was raised (which I have been considering as well): "Some people are starting to wonder if Cain is a "plant" in the race... "

A discussion ensues about the campaign, the economy, and heavy on foreign policy issues. The Congressman is joined by Fox News' All-Star Panel: Stephen Hayes, Juan Williams, and Charles Krauthammer. Congressman Ron Paul on Fox News’ Hannity (10/24/2011)

Presidential candidate Ron Paul joined Fox News' Sean Hannity to discuss the fight for GOP nomination, and whether the Congressman could play spoiler (whatever that is supposed to mean). At least Hannity has reached out to Dr. Paul in recent months. But this new found mood of cooperation was only forged when The Star-Ledger's Paul Mulshine interviewed Dr. Paul, who called out the neocon talkers for their hypocrisy and naked partisanship, rather than fundamental principles. If they truly "agreed with everything about economics and the Federal Reserve," they (specifically Levin, Limbaugh, et.al.)  would have talked to the Congressman before, and not spent hours on end mocking this great statesman. Hannity does not provide his viewers with this background. (Video Part One and Part Two)

Texas Straight Talk: TSA Releases VIPR Venom on Tennessee Highways (10/24/2011)

In this week's Texas Straight Talk update, Dr. Ron Paul decries the roll-out of the TSA's military-style checkpoints on the nation's highways. These VIPR (Visible Intermodal Prevention and Response) teams will ostensibly roam America's streets  in search of terrorists. But you can bet they will use this subversion of the 4th amendment as a dragnet to prosecute DUIs, search for illicit drugs, do registration and drivers license checks, and to otherwise enforce regulations and raise revenue for the government. This is just another dangerous step in the incremental destruction of our civil liberties! I posted a news report about this case in Tennessee on my YouTube Channel. Dr. Ron Paul appeared on NBC's Meet the Press with David Gregory on Sunday, as part of their 'Meet the Candidates' segment. Can the Congressman break out of the pack? Dr. Paul talks about his run for the Republican nomination. Gregory takes the Congressman on whirlwind tour of the issues, which Congressman Paul handles with ease. For such a renown newsman, Gregory unquestioningly accepts every government pronouncement and establishment pundit as a source of absolute truth.

Rand Paul Audio Update - October 15th thru October 22nd

This week, the Senator gave a semi-official verbal endorsement for his dad's presidential campaign of Freedom Watch. Rand also stood up to the Senate establishment, in slowing down big government's attempt to continue business as usual- by objecting to the re-authorization of "No Child Left Behind" and the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA). Americans need to have a real conversation about local control of education, and this makes for a great start! The Senator also did quite a job grilling one of his favorite punching bags- Timothy Geithner- at Small Business Committee Hearing, and continued to lobby the American people (through the media) on behalf of the Republican jobs bill. Ron Paul at the Iowa Faith and Freedom Coalition (10/22/2011)

Congressman Ron Paul, along with five of his competitors for the Republican nomination, spoke at the the Iowa Faith and Freedom Coalition presidential candidate forum in Des Moines on Saturday night. The FFC's fall banquet was held at the Iowa State Fairgrounds, where Dr. Paul delivered his biblically-sound message of faith, family, and free-will- and for the people to determine their own future (rather than big government). Our personal sense of morality (or lack thereof) comes from our own faith & beliefs, not from the innumerable laws written by a flawed body of legislators or bureaucrats!
