Presidential hopeful Ron Paul spoke with 630 WMAL's (Washington, DC) Morning Majority about his thoughts on the current policies that have been discussed in the September debates. Morning Majority hosts Brian Wilson, Mary Katherine Hamm, and Bryan Nehman contend that- based on one Fox News poll- Herman Cain is now top tier, and that Ron Paul is in fifth! Unbelievable- Ron Paul is clearly 3rd place for a month, and a single poll shows Cain has a bump, and now he's top tier.

Rep. Ron Paul Hosts Town Hall Meeting in Muscatine, IA (9/27/2011)

On Tuesday afternoon, Ron Paul attended a townhall-style meeting in the Southeast Iowa, Mississippi River town of Muscatine. Another standing room only crowd, reportedly as many as 150 people, filled the Riverview Center. The Congressman spoke about a much more limited role for the federal government, including repairing the relationship between the doctor and patient in medicine. A packed house of fervent supporters greeted presidential candidate Ron Paul at a Clinton, Iowa town hall meeting Tuesday afternoon. The Clinton Community College Technology Center was filled to capacity with area residents enamored with Paul’s promise of a return to the constitutional basics, personal responsibility, smaller government and freedom. About 150 more Iowans showed up to hear Republican presidential hopeful Ron Paul call for a reduction in spending and lowering the nation’s debt during a visit to Dubuque on Tuesday. Assuming that some of you out there would like to have more media to choose from that fairly and thoroughly cover the Ron Paul 2012 campaign, I've decided to post some audio I have heard in the last month or two, that gives the listener a good take on recent developments. Ron Paul Speech at New York’s Webster Hall (9/26/2011)

Rep. Ron Paul returned to New York City on Monday, and spoke to more than 1800 strong in the Grand Ballroom at Webster Hall. The Congressman was introduced by Peter Schiff, and then spoke about the need to change foreign policy, restore the free market, and get our message of liberty out to counter the forces of corporatism and big government. Ron Paul on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart (9/26/2011)

For the first time since 2009, Rep. Ron Paul returned to Comedy Central's The Daily Show, to talk with host Jon Stewart about his campaign for President an the Republican nomination. The Congressman explains his steadfast strategy of spreading his economic and political message as the only way to keep broadening his base of enthusiastic supporters. Conversation turns to the free market as a much stronger regulator of corporate fraud and big, influential business, and curtailing the war on drugs. Like all liberals, Stewart is skeptical of the self-regulating qualities of the free-market, contending that at least the bureaucrats are accountable (seen the news lately)! But overall, the discussion was constructive and the line of questioning was fair. If only Dr. Paul had reminded Mr. Stewart of how young this experiment in human freedom is!

Ron Paul Speaks, Receives Endorsement in Trenton, NJ (9/26/2011)

On Monday at noon, New Jersey State Senator Michael J. Doherty held a press conference on the steps of the New Jersey state house to announce his endorsement of Congressman Ron Paul for President in 2012! State Sen. Doherty, widely considered the Garden State's top conservative voice (eat your heart out Gov. Christie/Republican establishment), publicly announced his support for the Congressman in Trenton and introduced Dr. Paul to yet another enthusiastic crowd of supporters. In this week's edition of Ron Paul's Texas Straight Talk, the Congressman explains that the last thing the world community needs today is increased tension between the Israelis and Palestinians! From the perspective of peace and stability, the last 60-plus years has been a failed experiment in centralized, great power politics. The sellout of national sovereignty to the United Nations was truly a fools errand, and all the world's sovereign nations should reject the failed mandate of the UN. Rep. Ron Paul Speaks at Louisiana Campaign HQ Grand Opening (9/23/2011)

Nearly 500 activists and supporters attended the Grand Opening of Ron Paul's Louisiana campaign headquarters in Baton Rouge on Friday night- proving that the r3VOLution is truly reaching new heights! The Congressman apparently spoke for only a few minutes, after a long day of events and travel. The interviews are few and far between at this point- but the campaigning is at a fever pitch. Senator Rand Paul had a couple of particularly interesting interviews this week, talking beyond the standard economic issues (and familiar talking points) during extended interviews. He reacted to the threat of yet another possible government shutdown, talks about his flight with President Obama on Air Force One to talk about jobs and the economy, and worked on getting his constituents a much needed new bridge. Rep. Ron Paul Speaks at Lousiana State University (9/23/2011)

2012 Republican Presidential candidate Ron Paul spoke to a capacity crowd in Baton Rouge at Louisiana State University’s Union Theater on Friday afternoon. The Congressman's visit marked his first time on a college campus since the launch of his Youth for Ron Paul initiative, and it exceeded expectations with more than 1,250 LSU students, other youth and the at-large community. Dr. Paul gave the students a historical understanding for how this country arrived at this present time of crisis, and lectured about how the perennial concept of liberty would be applied to modern America under his presidency. Impressively, the many LSU students in attendance demonstrated a prior understanding, and a favorable response to our ideas- deemed 'radical' by mainstream pundits! Positive coverage of the Ron Paul 2012 campaign within the mainstream media is rare to come across. From the liberal dinosaur media to the mainline neoconservative talkers- few pundits find it in their interest to stick their necks out on our behalf. And it is unsurprisingly so- the many special interests risk losing their influence if the people can force their government to operate with the limitations of the Constitution! Ron Paul Speaks at Florida Conservative Political Action Conference (9/23/2011)

On Friday, Congressman Ron Paul took to the podium to speak at the American Conservative Union's Florida CPAC gathering in Orlando, Florida. Dr. Paul was introduced by ACU Chairman Al Cardenas, who had some nice things to say about the Congressman. The Florida Conservative Political Action Conference was held at the same venue as the previous night's debate, at the Orange County Convention Center. Rep. Paul spoke of the need to fall back on America's founding principles during this time of impending crisis.

Ron Paul Orlando GOP Debate Highlights (9/22/2011)

This podcast file contains Congressman Ron Paul's various highlights, responses, and interactions from the Fox News/Google debate for the Republican Party presidential nomination process, held at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. Dr. Paul's camera time continues to shrink as these debates progress, with some calculations showing RP with less than eight minutes throughout a 2 hour forum! The Congressman answered questions about immigration, the Department of Education, states rights and the 10th amendment, job creation, abortion policy, and running mates. 6th Republican Presidential Debate - Orlando, FL (9/22/2011)

On Thursday night, the battle for the Republican nomination came to Orlando, Florida for the sixth major debate of the 2012 campaign season. Fox News and Google collaborated with the Republican Party of Florida to host the forum at the Orange County Convention Center. Fox News' Bret Baier primarily moderated the debate; however, questions were submitted and voted on by the public over the internet. Nine candidates participated in the evening debate, including (from left to right on the stage): Gary Johnson (finally made the cut), Rick Santorum, Newt Gingrich, Ron Paul, Rick Perry, Mitt Romney, Michele Bachmann, Herman Cain, and John Huntsman. This file includes the entire debate, available free of charge to anyone interested. I only ask that the listener get to know Ron Paul! He is not a trendy, or hyped candidate, but a man with a long career of principled independence, and a reverence for the Constitution! Constitutional Money: Bill Still v. Tom Woods

In recent days, some pundits and researchers have questioned Ron Paul's understanding of Constitutional money and the legal tender laws. This debate is exemplified by an interview that Russia Today's Max Keiser conducted with author and documentary filmmaker Bill Still- who is a longtime advocate of monetary policy reform. Still opposes the gold standard, in favor of a 'nationalized' central bank, that can create debt-free currency for the people. I included Still's entire conversation on the Keiser Report (some of which is unrelated to Wood's response), which contains useful discussion about Fort Knox, state banks, and hard currency. On Wednesday, Tom Woods released a video in defense of Dr. Paul's views that the federal government may make nothing other than gold and silver legal tender, according to the laws still currently on the books (begins at 12:40).

Christian Science Monitor Breakfast with Rep. Ron Paul (9/21/2011)

On Wednesday, GOP presidential frontrunner Ron Paul joined the Monitor Breakfast for a conversation with reporters at the St. Regis Hotel in Washington DC. . The round-table style discussion covered a wide range of subjects, from the Congressman's libertarian philosophy, to the lack of media coverage, to the policy of the Federal Reserve, the candidacy of Gov. Rick Perry, and the likelihood of a independent or 3rd party run. The CSMonitor forum was moderated by Dave Cook, and is available on video via FORA.tv (subscription required).

The campaign continues to gain steam in Iowa, as Congressman Ron Paul spoke in front of another crowd of 200+ in Sioux City, Iowa. The town hall-style event was held at River’s Bend Convention Center at Stoney Creek Inn on Tuesday afternoon.
