On Tuesday, Ron Paul appeared on News Talk 1370 WSPD's Brian Wilson and the Afternoon Drive show, to talk about the debt ceiling theatre going on in the Congress (and the Congressman's speech on the house floor today) and the 2012 presidential campaign. 1370 WSPD is affiliated with Fox News Radio, and broadcasts out of Toledo, Ohio. Brian Wilson is a serious ideological ally of Ron Paul, Lew Rockwell, Tom Woods, and others- check him out if you get a chance.

Ron Paul’s Floor Speech on the Debt Ceiling (7/19/2011)

Congressman Ron Paul spoke during the house session on Tuesday, to express his displeasure towards the framing of the ongoing debate. Dr. Paul reminds his colleagues that the real default is ongoing, as the Treasury and the Federal Reserve buy their own debt, and in doing so devalues the American people's money! None of the currently offered proposals actually stops the accrual of new debt, and thus they aren't serious attempts at solving the problem. Ron’s Brother, Wayne Paul on The Alex Jones Show (7/18/2011)

I thought you all might enjoy hearing from Ron Paul's brother, Wayne, who appeared on The Alex Jones Show on Monday. Wayne Paul is a retired former CPA, and long time activist against the Federal Reserve and the IRS. Mr. Paul spoke with Alex about America's sad economic state, the devastation caused by the Fed's quantitative easing, some badly needed reforms for US immigration policy, and Ron's 2012 presidential campaign. I have decided to abstain from posting naked insults and non-constructive criticisms, from the list of usual suspects. That's not to say that every commentator is predicting victory for Dr. Paul in the primary; rather, the hope is to provide the listener with diverse opinions from a wide variety of outlets. Audio includes impromptu remarks from the Congressman on the campaign trail, and comments from dedicated supporters. Rep. Ron Paul on FBN’s Tom Sullivan Show (7/16/2011)

Congressman Ron Paul appeared on Fox Business' Tom Sullivan Show this weekend, to talk about his announced retirement, the 2012 campaign, and the debt-ceiling debate. I see a trend here; where, although the campaign is picking up and many polls show Dr. Paul in 2nd or 3rd place, the anchors simply focus on the negative and try to downplay clear inroads being made within the electorate. Dr. Ron Paul Visits Windham, New Hampshire (7/16/2011)

During a whirlwind tour of southern New Hampshire on Saturday, Texas Republican and presidential hopeful Ron Paul spoke to about 50 people at the Nesmith Library in Windham, NH. In this portion of his remarks, the Congressman spoke about the nation's debt and the weak economy. He also explained how the Constitutional path, envisioned by the founders, will be the only path back to prosperity. As always, I will post the rest of the speech if/when it comes available. Rand Paul Audio Update - July 9th thru July 16th

It was a fairly light media week for Senator Rand Paul, so I included a couple of interviews that I missed in the previous week's podcast. The Senator, who was labeled an extremists by the freedom-hating Southern Poverty Law Center, continued his work spreading awareness of the out of control Homeland Security apparatus and the TSA. Rand also continued to argue for fiscal sanity in Washington, and against an unrestrained increase of the debt limit. Dr. Ron Paul on the Yahoo Daily Ticker (7/15/2011)

Congressman Ron Paul spoke with Daniel Gross of Yahoo! Finance on Friday, as part of The Daily Ticker show. Dr. Paul spoke once again about rejecting any deal on a debt ceiling increase, and explained the need to rollback big government in order to restore economic growth and broad prosperity. In part two of the interview, added to this file (7/19), the Congressman compares the young campaign to four years ago at this time. The two talk about the doctor's unparalleled credibility and the campaign's first televised ad of the cycle, entitled "Conviction."

Ron Paul to Retire from the Congress!

It's true- Congressman Ron Paul will not seek re-election to the House of Representatives, as he will instead go "all in" for the Presidential campaign. I edited together a bit of audio to capture the reaction from some familiar voices in support of Ron Paul. What has prompted this sudden announcement?
