The two discussed the Congressman's increasing political clout, the Fed's harmful monetary policy and the necessary transition to honest money, and the President's wild lack of priorities.

Earlier this week, Ron Paul visited with Fox Business' John Stossel to tape a very special episode of the program: dedicated to Dr. Paul and his rEVOLution! The Congressman tackles the issues with Stossel, debates foreign policy with Lt. Col. Anthony Shaffer, and historian Thaddeus Russell points out that on many issues, Paul has more in common with the left than the right. Ron Paul 2012! - Early Media Reaction (April 2011)

Well, after dutifully updating this podcast for the last 16 months (and waiting for this very moment), Congressman Ron Paul has officially created his Presidential Exploratory Committee to run for the White House in 2012! The grass/net roots has been buzzing since the CPAC victory, and rightly so. Not surprisingly, despite Dr. Paul's proven activist base and fund-raising capability, the media remains generally dismissive (although somewhat more respectful) of our cause and our candidate. Ron Paul On The Sean Hannity Radio Show (4/28/2011)

Congressman Ron Paul was invited onto The Sean Hannity Show, as a "part of Sean’s continuing effort to inform listeners of the 2012 Presidential field." Hannity should be given some credit for his recent willingness to engage the Congressman, given that most other neocon talkers refuse to say the name Ron Paul unless they do so mockingly. The host is still hung up on the 2008 campaign snowball incident, yet claims to have read and enjoyed Liberty Defined! Ron Paul on the Glenn Beck Show (4/27/2011)

For the first time in well over a year, Dr. Paul had an on-air conversation with former Fox host Glenn Beck, on his radio show. In a bit to retain relevance, Beck compliments Dr. Paul in a sideways manner "for being ahead of his time." The conversation turns to the Federal Reserve, monetary easing and oil prices, the 2012 exploratory committee, the birther controversy, and more.

Ron Paul talks with Laura Ingraham (4/27/2011)

On Wednesday, Rep. Ron Paul appeared on The Laura Ingraham Show, to talk about Bernanke's press conference and the Federal Reserve's destructive monetary policy, as well as the trade imbalances with China. Unlike during the Bush administration, Ingraham has jumped onto trade issues against foreigners like China since the beginning of 2011- just about the exact same time Donald Trump started up on the political scene. This focus on Chinese policy, not unlike the threat of Islamic terrorism, takes American's minds off of our own government's damaging policies! Donald Trump is indeed being thrust forward as a fake populist, and Ingraham is clearly playing a game here!

Shortly after announcing his 2012 exploratory committee in Des Moines, Congressman Ron Paul appeared on WHO Newsradio 1040 with Simon Conway to talk about his plans for the first in the nation caucus state. Ron Paul Officially Announces 2012 Exploratory Committee in Iowa (4/26/2011)

On Tuesday afternoon in Des Moines, Dr. Ron Paul officially announced his intention to form a Presidential Exploratory Committee, the first step toward pursuing the Republican nomination for President. Along side campaign manager Jesse Benton, the Congressman held his press conference in the Library Room at the north end of the Holiday Inn - Des Moines Airport. Drew Ivers, a member of the state central committee of Iowa’s Republican Party, was also introduced as chairman of the Congressman's Iowa leadership team. Congressman Paul (once again) was made to address Hannity's run-ins with RP supporters during the 2008 campaign, and discussed that tomorrow an exploratory committee will officially be announced!
