TST: Reject the Welfare/Warfare State! (11/8/2010)
November 8th, 2010
In this weeks episode of Texas Straight Talk, Congressman Paul cautions our excitement over electoral victories at the polls last week. As Rand has been saying in the media lately, the whole budget needs to be put on the table for scrutiny, if this country is going to get its finances in order. The American empire must become a thing of the past, and entitlements must be examined in the light of their limited original mandates.

Dr. Paul on truTV with Jessie Ventura
November 6th, 2010
Congressman Ron Paul made a short cameo on truTV's Conspiracy Theory with host, and former Minnesota Governor, Jessie Ventura. Dr. Paul discusses how the Federal Reserve maintains control over government policy and influences financial panics. If you know the circumstances behind the creation of the Federal Reserve, you understand that it is perhaps the single most insidious conspiracy against the American republic, and the future of its people. Looks like an excellent episode- required viewing for every American!

Andrew Wilkow interviews Congressman Paul (11/5/2010)
November 6th, 2010
XM/Sirius' Andrew Wilkow, host of the Wilkow Majority, had an interesting conversation with Dr. Paul about the elections, auditing the Federal Reserve, and his expected chairmanship of the Domestic Monetary Policy subcommittee. Wilkow was a one time fill-in host for Mark Levin at WABC in New York. Take a listen to this guy some time, he's pretty good: like an anti-establishment Sean Hannity, who isn't corporately bought and paid for!

Ron Paul on “Your World” with Neil Cavuto (11/5/2010)
November 6th, 2010
For the first time in a while, Rep. Ron Paul made an appearance on the Fox News Channel, visiting with Neil Cavuto of Your World. The Congressman talked about the economy and the Fed's printing of money, the election, and his impending committee chairmanship. BTW, anyone else agree that Neil Cavuto is the single least interesting television journalist in the corporate news biz? Although Fox may have the most credibility covering current events of all the cable news networks (not saying much), the talent leaves alot to be desired: Van Susterein, Geraldo, Kilmeade, and Cavuto. Not exactly broadcasting Hall of Fame material...

Senator Elect Rand Paul Election Recap - Audio Update
November 5th, 2010
This audio post is a recap of Election Day 2010, after which Rand Paul became one of the two Senators from Kentucky! This file contains interviews, news coverage, and analysis of Rand Paul's campaign victory over Democrat, and Kentucky's Attorney General, Jack Conway. Audio begins on November 1st, continues through Election Day, and ends on November 4th. Hear Dr. Paul speak with the media throughout and after Election Day. Coverage includes MSNBC panelists on Election Night (which I almost apologize for subjecting the listeners to) in an incredible display of hypocrisy, demagoguery, and self-adulation. Moreover, hear Jack Conway blame his campaign loss on out of state campaign contributions. As requested by listeners, I will continue to post Rand Paul audio updates on a bi-weekly basis as a single mp3 download. The exception being particularly important speeches and interviews in high demand that I will post separately. Once Dr. Ron Paul confirms his intention to run for President, his media appearances should explode in number, I will likely restrain podcast coverage to that of Congressman Paul, exclusively. In the meantime, if you are primarily interested in Rand, just paste the following link into your podcast software or RSS reader: http://www.ronpaul2012podcast.com/category/rand-paul/feed/

Ron Paul Speaks at his Election Night Victory Party (11/2/2010)
November 3rd, 2010
On a very exciting election night for the Paul family, the Congressman spoke at his Victory celebration at the Civic Center in Lake Jackson, Texas. The audio begins as Dr. Paul addresses the crowd in Bowling Green, Kentucky via video link, to wish his son congratulations. The end of Rand's introduction was cut off due to technical difficulties, but the vast majority of the introduction is included. I edited out Rand's speech to avoid redundancy and excessive bandwidth use, listen to his victory speech here. Ron Paul defeated his opponent, Democrat Robert Pruett, by a landslide of 76% to 24%. He proclaimed victory, thanked his campaign staff, and delivered a rousing speech to his constituents and supporters on hand. Watch video footage of the night's events, at LiveonLocation.tv.

TST: No Weapons for Saudi Arabia (11/1/2010)
November 3rd, 2010
In this week's telephone update, Congressman Paul lays out why President Obama should be lauded by the neoconservatives, as he continues the failed foreign policy of the past several decades. As the US gears up to ship massive armaments and weaponry to the oppressive Saudis, can't they conceive of these sales coming back to haunt us? No matter, the geniuses at the Pentagon and State Department are willing to overlook any likelihood of blowback in hope of restoring a more favorable balance of power in the middle east, specifically against Iran.

Ron Paul’s Full Speech at the University of Iowa (10/29/2010)
November 3rd, 2010
Congressman Ron Paul addressed a crowd of over 800 at the University of Iowa Memorial Union on Friday night. Brought to the Iowa City campus by the University of Iowa Young Americans for Liberty, Dr. Paul gave his 50-minute speech in front of a most lively audience composed of students and adults from all across the state of Iowa and beyond. A theme during Paul's speech, entitled "It's Time to be Honest," was the accelerating momentum of the libertarian movement. Specifically, Dr. Paul explained how a similar speech given a few years back would have only attracted around 30 people. A feeling of revolution was most certainly in the air at the auditorium, which was about 85% filled. This speech is now archived here in its entirety (12/4)- enjoy!

Dr. Paul Speaks to ISU Students in Ames, Iowa (10/29/2010)
November 3rd, 2010
During his whirlwind tour around Iowa campaigning for five different liberty candidates, Ron Paul found the time to speak to the students of Iowa State University. Dr. Paul presented a check from his Liberty PAC to State House candidates Chad Steenhoek and Tim Gartin, he then spoke to a crowd of 100 during midday class times at the university's Gerdin Business Building. Is the Congressman stumping early in preparation for the 2012 Iowa straw poll? Audio was located in short clips on the web, so the speech is incomplete and somewhat choppy. The video, made by youtube user TEApublican, condensed the speech by cutting out applause. As a result, Dr. Paul's lecture is an extremely succinct, hard hitting twenty minutes of audio. I tried to edit it together the best I could. As always, I will re-post the speech in its entirety if audio of better quality surfaces.

Rand Paul Returns to the Mark Levin Show (10/28/2010)
November 1st, 2010
For the second time this month, Dr. Rand Paul spoke with Mark Levin about his impending victory in Kentucky. After notably omitting Rand's candidacy for US Senate over the many months, Levin has jumped on the bandwagon with victory in sight. The discussion was pleasant and informal, and provided interesting insight into the campaign through the eyes of Dr. Paul. Levin, the neocon and pseudo-Constitutionalist, wisely avoided conversation about the wars and foreign policy.
