Thursday's full debate was between the Republican and Democratic candidates for U.S. Senate in Kentucky, Dr. Rand Paul and Attorney General Jack Conway. The third October debate, between the tea party candidate and the Obama Democrat, took place in the western Kentucky city of Paducah at the Carson Center. Conway and Paul traded barbs once again over the role of outside groups, attack ads and medicare. WPSD Local 6 provided coverage. Numbers from political tracking blog TPM show Republican Paul leading Democrat Conway 47 percent to 42 percent.
